Diabetic Friendly Muesli Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of ground flax seeds.
  • ½ cup of wheat germ.
  • 1 cup of wheat bran
  • 6 cups of old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup barley, flakes
  • 1 cup rye flakes
  • ½ cup of unsweetened flaked coconut
  • ½ cup raisins
  • ½ cup dry cranberries
  • ¼ cup unsalted pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • ¼ cup almonds
  • ¼ cup ground walnuts
  • ½ cup sesame seeds

Cooking Time: 10min

Serving: 30

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Store it in large glass jar.
  3. Serve ½ cup of skim milk, and no fat yogurt, some stewed fruits and blue berries.
  4. Let muesli sit for some time in a milk, to soften the oats.
  5. You can eat it either cold or warn.
